Sioux Fully Beaded Pictorial Vest

Museum quality sinew sewn fully beaded buffalo hide vest. Visually striking designs depicting twin teepees, warriors on horseback and flags done in cobalt, red "white hearts" and greasy yellow beads on a white ground. Vest is lined in a pale rose colored muslin with short hide fringe down the sides. Excellent condition. Size: 21' x 22". Circa: 1880.
