N. Plains Hide Gauntlets with Velvet Cutouts

Very unique pair of Northern Plains hide gauntlets with velvet cutouts. The design was created by cutting geometric shapes in the leather and allowing the velvet to show through. Lining is indigo and cream cotton. Leather is soft and in excellent condition with long fringe running the length of the uppers. Length: 18". Circa 1920.
