Very large and rare old Sioux buffalo hide pipe bag. Large beaded panels front and back with different geometric designs done in cobalt, red "white hearts", light blue, translucent red, marcasite and translucent green beads on a white ground. Beaded rolled edge decorate the top and side of the upper portion of the bag. Very long quilled and fringed suspension in very good shape accent the bottom of the bag. Very fine condition. Body length of beadwork and quillwork: 26" plus fringe: 12.5". Circa: 1890.
